YouTube’s Arrival and Growth in Ukraine

The first video from Ukraine was uploaded to YouTube in 2005, but a Ukrainian-language user interface appeared only in 2010. According to AIR Brands internal analytics, in 2024, Ukraine had approximately 4,200 YouTube channels producing content in Ukrainian — each with more than 50,000 monthly views and recent uploads within the last seven days.

Excluding news and music channels, around 3,000 YouTubers create diverse content in Ukrainian under the same criteria, reflecting the growth of localized digital media.
