Early Development of Ukrainian Social Platforms

The history of Ukrainian social platforms began in 2005 with the launch of the first Ukrainian social network, 1ua.com.ua.

The first period (2005–2013) saw the emergence of other networks such as Connect.ua (2007), Ukrainci (2009), Ukrainian Scientists Worldwide (2008), vreale.net (2010), among others, marking the initial growth of local online communities.
